Teachers Are People, Too!
Mr. Timothy Flynn, M.Ed.Hello! I will be teaching the AP US History side of the cohort. One of my favorite historians, H. W. Brands says of history that “History
is a story… in fact, it is the best story I can think of.” Through this course, you will be exposed to the fascinating story that is the history of the United States. Our journey will begin long before 1492 and wrap up with the social, economic, and political issues which dominate the headlines of present day. I hope you're ready for a rigorous survey of history unlike any other you've experienced before!
When I'm not teaching, I'm reading, writing, and finishing a doctorate in Educational Leadership. |
Mr. Ryan Lay“Welcome! I will be your AP English Language
teacher this year. Rhetoric [ret-er-ik] is the lynchpin of our curriculum in AP
Lang., and we will be studying a healthy blend of American Literature and
rhetorical composition. If you’ve ever wondered how some of the greatest
leaders in history have moved nations with their words, we will seek to find an
answer this year, as well as to apply that knowledge in our daily speaking and
writing.
When I’m not teaching, I’m pondering the mysteries of our universe and trying to collect its diversities into an ethos suitable for my fragile mind to comprehend.” |
